The centre is set up to unite the younger generations to explore our profound Chinese culture, such as understanding its diversity and studying the history and future development of our motherland. By exchanging ideas, participants are going to learn how to make significant contributions to the country.
Sponsored by The Education Bureau, CYEC continues to co-organise the “Mainland Exchange Programme for Junior Secondary and Upper Primary Students”. Through excursions to the mainland, students can have various learning experience that enhances their understanding inside and outside the Guangdong Province, including the history, culture, customs, urban and rural development, economic growth, technological advancement, as well as nature conservation.
Sponsored by The Education Bureau, CYEC continues to co-organise the “Mainland Exchange Programme – An Exploration into Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Cities”. Through visitng Macao and Zhuhai, students can have different learning experiences to enhance their understanding of the Greater Bay Area, such as its history, culture, technology, aviation, economy, urban planning and ecosystems. In addition, they can explore the strengths and opportunities of Hong Kong and the surrounding cities.
The programme aims at providing local primary and secondary students with a fun-to-join, activity-based English learning experience. It emphasises building up their confidence and enhancing their interest in English communication. With selected candidates of native English-speaking instructors coming from overseas, who study education-related subjects, as well as volunteers recruited from local universities, we strive to offer high-quality English learning activities to participants, and create fruiful experience for the foreigners.
