S. Living

Overconsumption is a widespread problem in today’s society. While it might bring short-term satisfaction to people, such behaviour has actually outpaced the sustainable capacity of our ecosystem. As a result, S. Living Platform is set up by Wofoo Social Enterprises to motivate individuals and families to adopt a simple lifestyle. Initiatives include green tours, workshops and different educational campaigns.

Collaborative Platforms

Hong Kong Tree Planting Day

In March every year, Green Fun – one of the member institutions of Concerted Efforts Resource Centre – organises the “Hong Kong Tree Planting Day” to spread the message of environmental protection. Supported by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, it has been held annually since 1997 to plant various local species all over Hong Kong. Over the years, more than 2000 participants from Radio Television Hong Kong, HSBC Hong Kong, AEON Store, AEON Credit Service, Wofoo Social Enterprises, Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, People’s Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison and other bodies joined the initiative. Such huge success has already made Hong Kong Tree Planting Day a major green event in the city!

Mission Healthy Greens

Mission Healthy Greens has been committed to exploring career and projects on environmental protection, organic farming and city farming. Since its establishment, Mission Healthy Greens has collaborated with various parties to investigate into city farming, including the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, as well as The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The first planting site is located in Fu Shan Estate, where there are 36 plant pots provided for course participants and an exhibition zone displaying plenty of plant species. More importantly, the elderly residents of Fu Shan Estate have the priority to join our planting course, through which we hope would bring them life satisfaction as well as closer relationships with neighbours.
