HK.WeCARE

HK.WeCARE studies the happiness of Hong Kong people through compiling the General Happiness Index. We believe that the research outcome is going to assist the government in formulating policies which improve our quality of life as a whole. We encourage our city to choose happiness, hoping that everyone shares their time and love with each other so as to realise the five core values: optimism, respect, love, care and hope. Key projects under HK.WeCARE include Happiness Index, Social Changer, Volunteer Day, etc.

HK.WeCARE Happiness Index

“General Happiness Index” has been compiled annually by HK.WeCARE of Wofoo Social Enterprises since 2015. Through investigating the happiness level of Hong Kong people and the influencing factors, we hope to arouse public concern about happiness and work out solutions with different sectors, making Hong Kong a happier city.

Social Changer

Sponsored by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, “Social Changer” aims to enhance teenagers’ sense of social responsibility and mental capital by organising training workshops, community and volunteer tours, drama workshops, video competitions, awards ceremonies and so on. It serves as a platform for young people to recognise the Social Changers and work with them for a better and happier society.

Volunteer Day

“HK.WeCARE Volunteer Day” invites enterprises, local small businesses and non-profit organisations to set up game booths. Apart from bringing joy and positivity to the community, HK.WeCARE Volunteer Day commends various sectors for their efforts in co-creating a happy society, as well as brings political figures, social welfare organisations, businesses, arts bodies, green groups and other parties together for cross-sector collaboration.
