Character Building (CB)

We are all facing an unpredictable society that has a significant impact on the values of our new generation. Character Building has thus become a crucial factor in the development of teenagers. This platform aims to promote Character Education in our society in collaboration with various sectors and parties such as school sponsoring bodies, religious groups, businesses, NGOs, scholars, as well as parents. The goal is to instil proper values in youngsters, providing them with exposure opportunities for holistic development so that they will become good citizens with care, respect, honesty, perseverance and responsibility.

Educational Research

Wofoo conducts in-depth research on Character Building in collaboration with other organisations and universities, such as Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This consolidates the understanding of related fields and topics. The research data and findings will be published to draw public attention to the issues of Character Building among teenagers, as well as to reflect on the current moral education policies.Survey results and data analyses also help to formulate long-term strategies and specific plans for Character Building.

Institutional Support & Curriculum Development

Through teacher training and curriculum development, we strengthen teachers’ exploration, practice and exchange in moral education. They can share their experience and best practices with each other to enhance the effectiveness of moral education. Besides, we support schools to cater for the needs of tertiary, secondary, primary and kindergarten students regarding the design of learning courses and activities. This enables them to have good morals and positive values, as well as develops their potential.
