Established in 1997 by Dr Joseph Lee, the Wofoo Foundation is dedicated to serving society under the belief “Harmony brings a family prosperity, cohesion makes a nation wealthy”.
Friends of Caritas held a fundraising event — “Run With Love” — Friends of Caritas Charity Run 2026 on February 1, 2026 at the Hong Kong Science Park. The event is co-organized by Chong Gene Hang College Athletics Club and sponsored by the Wofoo Foundation. It aims to gather positive energy from society and encourage the public to focus on physical and mental well-being — promoting love through sports. With the theme “Run for Love, Run for Hope,” this run emphasizes that every small step can make a big difference.
The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Financial Secretary Mr. Paul Chan Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, and His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J., Bishop of Hong Kong. Dr Joseph Lee, Chairman of the Wofoo Foundation, also attended as a distinguished guest. Dr. Lee officiated the start of the 5 KM race by firing the starting pistol and presented awards to the winners of the 10 KM race.
