To celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, Wofoo Foundation supports the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will hold its inaugural “Celebrating the National Day – Wofoo and HKBUCM Free Consultation Day” on October 1 2025. Six HKBU Chinese medicine clinics will provide free Chinese medicine consultations and treatments on that day, and each participant will receive two dosages of elementary Chinese medicine prescriptions (herbal decoctions or granules) with about 1,000 beneficiaries expected.
The six designated HKBU clinics are located in Kowloon Tong, Prince Edward, Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Sheung Wan, and North Point. Members of the public can make appointments through the online booking system, by phone, or in person at the six designated clinics.
On the event day, HKBU School of Chinese Medicine – Lui Seng Chun will also offer free Chinese herbal tea and guided tours to help the public learn more about the culture and history of Chinese medicine.
Professor Sun Feng, Director and Professor of Practice of the Clinical Division of School of Chinese Medicine at HKBU, stated: “It is especially meaningful for the School of Chinese Medicine to be holding a Free Consultation Day on the National Day for the first time. Thanks to the generous donation of the Wofoo Foundation, we can benefit more members of the public. We hope this free consultation activity can deepen the public’s understanding of the features of Chinese medicine, allow them to experience the culture of Chinese medicine, and enhance their awareness and knowledge of health management.”
