The Second Deignan Award for Responsible Entrepreneurship Launch Ceremony cum Panel Discussion was held on the 20 May 2024 at the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon. The event was hosted by Mr. Ho Kai Ming JP, the Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr. Stephan Rothlin SJ, the Chairman of the Steering Committee and President of the Macau Ricci Institute, and Dr. Joseph Lee, GBS, OStJ, JP, Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee and Chairman of Wofoo Social Enterprises.
Organized by Wofoo Social Enterprises, Macau Ricci Institute, and The University of Saint Joseph, this year’s Deignan Award aims to continue taking action to support and encourage the healthy development of outstanding SMEs in Hong Kong and Macau, and to expand the influence of excellent enterprises in society. The award has also received support from over 25 commercial and academic associations in Hong Kong and Macau, uniting under the theme of “Corporate Philanthropy – Sharing Values, Determination, and Compassion.” Together, they aim to promote new ideas for ethical business development and translate advocacy into action.
All SMEs in Hong Kong and Macau with fewer than 100 employees are welcome to sign up and participate NOW as we collectively drive sustainable business models forward!
