The 5th SOS (Search Our Soul) Community Interaction Days and Recognition Ceremony at Lok Fu Plaza — a heartfelt celebration of youth-led mental health initiatives was held on 22-23 August 2025. It is an honour to have principals, teachers, social workers, guests, and supporters from 8 participating schools join us to witness the students’ year-long efforts and growth. Your presence and encouragement meant the world to them — and served as the greatest affirmation of their journey.
Students are promoting mental well-being among their peers and the community throughout the year. This year’s SOS programme featured four themed youth mental health seminars based on the SOS 4A Framework:
- Affirmation – Self-awareness and self-worth
- Acceptance – Genuine connections and care
- Aspiration – Exploring dreams and life purpose
- Adaptability – Building resilience and flexibility
The insightful sharing from guest speakers is helping the students deepen public understanding of mental health from diverse perspectives. 8 student teams designed creative and interactive booths on mental health topics, guiding the public to explore emotional well-being in engaging and accessible ways. Each team reflected on their year-long journey, marking a meaningful end to this year’s SOS programme.
