Wofoo Community Hub’s “Loving Home Loving TY” annual project hosted its inaugural “My First Primary School Lesson” event on 3rd May 2025. A total of 133 parent-child pairs from the K2 kindergarten at W F Joseph Lee Primary School attended to experience their first taste of primary school life.
Hong Kong parents are often very anxious about their children’s education, constantly worried about falling behind from the very start. Yet, when children begin their educational journey and face subjects such as Chinese, English, Mathematics, Science, and Physical Education, which subject truly holds the greatest importance in life? To explore this question, W F Joseph Lee Primary School designed innovative English and Chinese classes specifically for the “My First Primary School Lesson” event. Through engaging and lively learning experiences, children and parents came to realize that in school, “Character Education” is the most vital lesson for a successful life.
The event was met with enthusiastic response. Both the Wofoo Community Hub and W F Joseph Lee Primary School will continue to infuse positive energy into the community, promote civic awareness, and nurture the next generation with strong moral character.
