The “Christmas Together: Connect & Thrive” event, hosted by Hong Kong Shared Good Values (HKSGV) of Wofoo Social Enterprises, was successfully held on Christmas Eve. Leveraging the festive season as an opportunity, the event brought together leaders from the government, business sector, and civil society to foster cross-sector sharing and collaboration, with the aim of advancing social innovation, promoting sustainable development, and strengthening community connections.
The event featured an impressive lineup of distinguished guests, including Hon. Tik Chi-yuen, Hon. Sunny Tan, Mr. Alvin Yip from Chinachem Group, actress and educator Ms. Crisel Consunji, and Ms. Jennifer Liu, founder of The Coffee Academics. Special thanks are extended to The Coffee Academics for providing venue support. Keynote speaker Hon. Tik Chi-yuen underscored the importance of businesses fulfilling their social responsibilities by leveraging cross-sector partnerships to promote social inclusion, while fostering empathy and innovative thinking to achieve a balance between social and commercial value.
