Wofoo Neighbour Hub invited the “Best 10 Award of Wofoo HK Student Civic Ambassadors” to participate in a volunteer elderly visit activity on August 1 and August 20, 2025. The ambassadors visited the Eco-Home for the Senior cum Sunny Green Day Care Centre for the Senior, and the Hong Kong Mutual Encouragement Association Jane Shu Tsao Social Centre for the Elderly to spend time with the elderly.
During the event, the ambassadors accompanied the elderly in making traditional sachets, conducting healthy hand exercises, and preparing performance programs. Through songs and smiles, they conveyed heartfelt greetings and blessings. The joyful smiles on the faces of the elderly were the greatest motivation and reward for Wofoo Neighbour Hub’s service.
The smooth execution of the activities was made possible with the full support and professional guidance of the “Mission Healthy Greens” volunteer team. The “Best 10 Award of Wofoo HK Student Civic Ambassadors” demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and dedication, embodying the civic spirit of “serving the community and caring for the neighborhood”.
Wofoo Neighbour Hub will continue to promote more community services of this kind and looks forward to welcoming more volunteers to join in the effort. Together, we will step into the community, listen to the stories of the elderly, spread more joy and warmth, and take practical actions to practice compassion and responsibility, all contributing to building a warmer and more caring Hong Kong.
