Wofoo Social Enterprise and Wofoo Foundation have been dedicated to supporting cultural and artistic activities in Hong Kong, aiming to promote positive values through “telling good Hong Kong stories.” Matteo Ricci The Musical is returning for its third run after a four-year hiatus and successfully performed this April! On April 8th, Dr. Joseph LEE, GBS, JP, the Chairman of Wofoo Foundation, along with the creative team including Damian Lau, Ata Wong, Jonathan Wong, and various school representatives, held a press conference at the Mondrian Hotel.
The musical Matteo Ricc reflects the importance of cultural exchange between East and West. There are similar values shared between the two cultures, and Matteo’s journey tells us that true communication and harmonious coexistence can only be achieved by breaking down barriers and mutual respect. This year, Wofoo Social Enterprise has assisted in promoting the musical Matteo Ricci to more schools and students, hoping to extend positive values to a greater number of young people through this event.
