With the subsidies from Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Youth Development Commission, WLN collaborated with several tertiary institutions in the December 2024 and January 2025, leading a total of 100 tertiary students to mainland and overseas for cultural exchange, volunteering, and field studies. These included voluntary teaching in the rural areas of Yunnan, panda care in Sichuan, ecological conservation in Australia, and environmental studies in South Korea. We aim at facilitating our youth to deepen their cultural understanding through firsthand experiences and to contribute to society through service learning. This initiative seeks to cultivate them into responsible citizens who rooted in Hong Kong, caring for the motherland, and with a global perspective.
