Some people perceive reading as a delightful journey of uncovering new knowledge and exploring unfamiliar areas, leading to a deeper understanding of themselves.
Principal Victoria Poon, teachers and students of WF Joseph Lee Primary School fully echoed and dressed up as various characters from books in order to convey the joy of reading through cosplay on 23rd April 2024 World Book Day. Principal Poon shared, “The significance of World Book Day lies not only in recommending books or pursuing the quantity of reading, but in promoting and spreading a reading atmosphere.” By transforming into characters from books, teachers and students worked together to create a reading atmosphere, enhance the pleasure of reading, and immersing themselves in the enchanting worlds depicted in books.
