W F Joseph Lee Primary School and the Wofoo Community Hub Elderly Academy promote inclusiveness together. On 16 January and 27 February 2025, Wofoo Community Hub Elderly Academy hosted the events ” Elders and Children Play Together: Hakka Steamed Glutinous Rice Cake Workshop” and “Elders and Children Play Together: Molkky. ” Students from Wofoo Joseph Lee Primary School and Cub Scouts participated in both events, where they made traditional Hakka tea cakes alongside the elders and engaged in the enjoyable and challenging activity of Molkky.

The “Hakka Steamed Glutinous Rice Cake Workshop” not only helped students learn how to engage inclusively with seniors but also played a vital role in preserving traditional Chinese culture. Additionally, through the “Molkky” activity, Cub Scouts interacted with the elders, enriching their experiences of intergenerational connection and enhancing their social skills.

Looking ahead, the Wofoo Community Hub Elderly Academy will continue to organize activities that promote lifelong learning for the elderly and foster a fulfilling life. Meanwhile, W F Joseph Lee Primary School will keep expanding its offerings of diverse social-emotional learning activities to support the physical and mental well-being of its students.
