Wofoo Social Enterprises received funding from Labour and Welfare Bureau to implement 3 years CIIF funded-project“Community Empowerment Project – Social Changer” in Sham Shui Po and Tsuen Wan. This project aims to encourage individuals or groups in the community to become “leader”, promote the spirit of mutual help, build together cross-sectoral collaborative platforms and social support networks to contribute to the welfare and benefits for underprivileged family and elderly, and integrate people from different social strata, sectors or groups, leading to a more caring and harmonious society.
Despite the hot weather this summer, our volunteers have devoted their enthusiasm to bringing joy to our Sham Shui Po and Tsuen Wan families. They had a fun day discovering different corners of Tsuen Wan, which you may or may not know, learning Tsuen Wan’s history and social services available through the games prepared by volunteers. The children even took up the challenge – they became little journalists, sharing the beauty of Tsuen Wan with the public.
