The “Social Changer” programme came to an end and a recognition ceremony was held on November 16 at Un Chau Estate, Cheung Sha Wan, to thank and recognize our dedicated partners and volunteers for their support over the past three years in serving the community with us.
Apart from the recognition ceremony, the event was also the opening ceremony of “Wofoo Community Hub”. Dr. Joseph Lee Chung-tak, President of Wofoo Social Enterprises, delivered a speech at the ceremony, stating that “Wofoo Community Hub” will continue the spirit of mutual help in the future, and continue to “support the community and walk with families”. Dr. Lee then officiated the launching ceremony together with our guests of honour to witness this precious moment.
At the end of the ceremony, our collaborating partners gave wonderful performances, which attracted a lot of neighbors to stop by and enjoy the performance, and everyone applauded! Apart from the performances, our partners also prepared different booth games and workshops, including charity haircut, natural handrub workshop, softball booth game, etc., which were very unique. All participating neighbors had a great time!
