The “Wofoo Community Hub – Elder Academy” organised the “Intergenerational Fun – Balloon Volleyball” activity on 25 June. Elderly members from the NTWJWASSDL Pak U Neighbourhood Elderly Centre were invited to WFJLPS to join the school’s Primary 1–2 scouts for the fun activity.
Competing in mixed teams, the young scouts supported their teammates and worked closely together, while the elderly participants showed great energy and enthusiasm. Through this enjoyable team game, students enriched their social experiences and learned about care, respect and the spirit of service.
The “Wofoo Community Hub – Elder Academy” promotes lifelong learning and intergenerational inclusion by bringing different generations together on campus. This activity demonstrated the power of intergenerational connection, allowing love and care to continue within the community.
