Powered by Hang Seng Bank, co-organized by HKSTP and Wofoo Social Enterprises, a sustainability entrepreneurship programme “Future Ecopreneur Programme” has been officially launched on 24 May 2024!
This tripartite partnership initiative aims to develop local tertiary students and young graduates into future leaders in sustainability and Greentech, aligning with Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050.
The programme will provide participants with comprehensive training on enhancing their entrepreneurial skills and deepening their understanding of environmental issues. Participants will be engaged in various activities such as sustainability courses, entrepreneurship bootcamps, community-based sustainability projects, and overseas and GBA ecotours.
Over 2.5 years, the entrepreneurial programme will empower students to emerge as the ecopreneurs of tomorrow, driving innovation and crafting sustainable solutions to tackle the global climate change challenge, which targets to create 80-100 sustainable business ideas and launch 30-40 green tech ventures, contributing significantly to the sustainable development of the region.
